Privacy Policy
Last updated 8 September 2026 · @fomosharkbot
The short version. The bot stores your Telegram ID, the wallet it made for you including its encrypted private key, your settings, and your trading history. That is what it needs to work.
It is all held on one private machine. Nothing is sold, shared, or fed to an analytics company.
The part people underestimate: your trades are published to a public blockchain by definition, permanently, and nobody can delete them.
This policy supplements the Telegram Privacy Policy for Third-Party Applications, which applies to every Telegram bot. That document is written to cover bots in general and says little about what a trading bot specifically does, so this one describes the parts that actually matter here. Where this policy is more specific, it governs the bot.

01Who runs this
FOMOSHARK is operated by a private individual, not a company, for himself and a small number of invited people. Contact for any privacy question: support@fomoshark.com.
02What is stored
Everything below is stored because the bot cannot work without it.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Your Telegram numeric ID, and your Telegram username if you have one | To know who you are between messages and to check you are allowed in |
| Who invited you, when, and any note they left | The invite list is what keeps strangers out |
| Your wallet address and its encrypted private key | To hold your funds and sign your trades (see section 03) |
| Your settings: trade size, slippage, per-trade and daily limits, position limits, exit ladders, stop losses, reserve, whether copying is on | To execute trades the way you told it to |
| Which traders you follow and your per-trader rules | To know whose trades to mirror for you |
| Your trades, positions, and realised profit and loss | To manage exits, enforce limits, and show your history |
| Service fees charged on your trades, and any cashback or referral rewards | To calculate what is owed, show it on your receipts, and keep the accounting right |
| Withdrawal destination addresses you use, and whether they have been approved | To process withdrawals and to check a new destination with you before sending |
| Who referred you, and referrals you bring in | To attribute referral rewards and to detect self-referral |
| Premium analytics purchases made with Telegram Stars | To grant access for the period bought and to handle refund requests |
| Operational logs and timing samples | To find bugs and measure how fast the system reacts |
Messages you send the bot are processed to carry out the command they contain. The bot does not read or store unrelated conversations, and it cannot see anything in Telegram outside your chat with it.
03Your wallet key
The bot generates a wallet for you and stores its private key encrypted in the database. It must be able to decrypt that key in order to sign trades for you.
The decryption key lives on the same machine as the database. That means anyone with administrative access to the machine, which today is the operator, could in principle derive your wallet key. This is stated plainly rather than glossed over, because you should size your deposit with it in mind.
You can export your key and withdraw your funds at any time.
Your key is never transmitted anywhere, never logged, and never shown in any channel other than a direct message to you when you explicitly ask to export it. That message is set to delete itself shortly afterwards. Nobody will ever ask you for your key; treat any such request as an attempt to steal from you.
04The public blockchain
This is the most important thing in this document. Every trade the bot makes for you is a transaction on a public blockchain. It is broadcast publicly, stored permanently, and readable by anyone in the world, forever. It is not deleted when you stop using the bot, and neither the operator nor anyone else can remove it.
Your wallet address is pseudonymous, not anonymous. Anyone can see its full history, and anyone who learns that the address is yours, for example because you funded it from an exchange account in your name or told someone, can link that history to you. Chain analysis makes this routine. If that matters to you, think about it before you fund the wallet, not after.
05Data about the traders copied
The bot stores the public wallet addresses of the traders being followed, the handle they use on the FOMO app, and their trading history as recorded on-chain. All of it is read from public sources, and none of it comes from the FOMO app's servers or any private source.
These people have not agreed to be tracked. Storing a handle next to an address connects a social identity to an on-chain one, so that pairing is kept inside the bot and is not published.
06What is not collected
- No name, address, date of birth, or identity documents. There is no KYC.
- No email address or phone number, unless you write to support yourself.
- No payment details. The bot never touches a card or a bank account.
- No location, no device fingerprint, no advertising identifiers.
- No behavioural analytics, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing. Ever.
07This website
fomoshark.com is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no tracking scripts. Two ordinary things still happen: the host (Vercel) records standard server request logs, and the page loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Mail sent to support@fomoshark.com is handled by AgentMail on Amazon SES infrastructure.
08Where it lives
The bot and its database run on a single machine on private premises, not on a cloud provider. Backups are kept on the same machine and on the operator's computer. Data is not transferred to any third-party processor, though the machine's internet connection necessarily reaches public blockchain infrastructure and Telegram's servers to send and receive messages.
09Sharing
Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties. There are exactly three exceptions, all inherent to how the thing works:
- Telegram carries your messages, under its own privacy policy.
- The blockchain receives your transactions, publicly and permanently.
- The law, if the operator is legally compelled to disclose something.
10Retention and deletion
Data is kept while you have access and for a period afterwards so that accounting and history stay intact. You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time by messaging the bot or writing to support.
On request, your wallet record, settings, follows and trade history are removed. Do export your key and withdraw your funds first: deleting the wallet record destroys the only copy of the key the bot holds, and anything left behind becomes unreachable.
Two things cannot be deleted: transactions already on the blockchain, which are outside anyone's control, and records that must be kept to meet a legal obligation.
11Security, honestly
Wallet keys are encrypted at rest, secrets are kept out of logs, and access to the bot is restricted to an explicit invite list. But this is personal software run by one person on a home machine, not an audited financial platform, and section 03 describes a real limitation rather than a theoretical one. No system is perfectly secure. Judge it accordingly and keep only what you can afford to lose in the wallet.
12Your rights
Whatever your jurisdiction, you can ask what is held about you, ask for a copy, ask for corrections, and ask for deletion. Requests are answered within 30 days and normally much sooner. There is no charge, and asking will not cost you your access.
13Changes
This policy may change. The date at the top shows the current version, and material changes will be announced through the bot.
